Our most recent copywriting intern, Alanna, has only been here four weeks, and she’s already spearheaded a Twitter contest for our codyskins.com<\/a> website and helped draft several websites, all while making sure our social media accounts are interactive and packed with fabulous content. So what’s it like to be an intern here at The Arkin Agency? Take it away, Alanna…<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a big, bad world out there and you can\u2019t get anywhere<\/em> without internship experience.\u201d Those are not the most comforting of words to hear from my father just days after finishing my third year in college.<\/p>\n

To say I was overwhelmed would be an immense understatement. I had put down my books and picked up my search for a summer internship. Where could I go that would help develop my writing skills while still being creative and having fun?<\/p>\n

Once I found The Studios, the search was over. Being here for the past four weeks, I have already gained knowledge and experience that has helped me to become a more confident and inventive writer. My knowledge in website development, social media and savvy writing techniques has grown exponentially.<\/p>\n

I should mention that I don\u2019t really feel like the intern. I\u2019m not going on coffee runs and doing mindless tasks for hours on end. Believe it or not, I was thrown into the everyday routine and given responsibilities. I am actually working on current projects and getting to showcase my skills.<\/p>\n

I was looking for a place where I could feature and evolve my writing skills, be involved in the everyday tasks, use my creativity and gain experience that would further affirm the direction I wanted to go in my life. And lucky for me, The Studios has done all this for me. (Cue the awwww\u2019s).<\/p>\n
