Don’t get left behind, roll ahead!

It’s no secret, we’re a little bit hockey happy here at The Arkin Agency. And it’s not just the signed jerseys and photographs that make up much of our decór, or the team outings to The Joe to watch our Wings — our love of hockey transcends all the way to our client roster.
The latest website to roll out of The Arkin Agency is for a skate guard company called RollerGard. As their name suggests, RollerGard’s signature product is a rolling skate guard. While this might seem novelty to an outsider, to a young hockey player, youth coach or hockey parent, RollerGards are genius.
Above all, RollerGards are money savers, allowing young players to practice outside of the pricey ice rink all year long to the get most out of the super expensive skates before they grow out of them. In addition, RollerGards and the non-rolling version, SuperGards, are engineered with features like drainage holes to prevent rust and a patented design that keeps skate blades afloat in the guard to prevent dulling.
These modern marvels of the skate guard world needed a website that emphasized all the whistles, bells and benefits — and that’s just what we gave them. The end result: a user-friendly, eCommerce site (developed with responsive design, of course) that put all the selling points in the spotlight and expressed the unique features of these products at a glance — which you can glance at RollerGard.
Side note: As you might expect, research was required for this project, which may or may not have involved some rolling around The Arkin Agency. But that’s for another blog entry.
