What can you save with $20?

A project years in the making, a true labor of love and something we really believe in has officially launched — HelpSave.it. Ok, it’s only been a year and a half, but it feels like we have been perfecting this project forever, and now our baby is all grown up and ready to start helping some worthy causes.

HelpSave.it is a fundraising program we began creating for schools to raise funds for sports, music and arts programs — the programs that are usually the first victims of budget cuts, but are also the programs that enrich the lives of students in such profound ways. As a creative agency (and huge sports fans), this hit home. Where would we be without programs like these that encouraged us to think outside of the box, work as a team and take exceptional pride in what we create?

We quickly realized that countless organizations could use this program to raise funds for their needs, not just schools. Non-profits, foundations, sports leagues, faith-based organizations…HelpSave.it is for anyone in need of an effective way to reach out to their supporters and offer them a great product in return for their help.

The actual product organizations sell to raise funds in the HelpSave.it program is membership to an online savings club. Supporters of an organization buy a membership to access all the deals on the website, and 50% of their membership fee goes directly to the organization. The savings club features deals from over a million merchants, both local businesses and national brands. Deals are constantly being updated and new merchants offering coupons and promotions appear everyday.

Each organization is provided with their own HelpSave.it website, which is designed with their brand colors and logos. The site keeps track of all the memberships purchased, ultimately relieving organizations of paperwork, inventory, delivery and most of the other time-consuming road blocks of traditional fundraising programs. Furthermore, since all the membership purchasing is done online, volunteers are no longer restricted by door-to-doors. Utilizing email and social media, volunteers can reach out to supporters anywhere in the country.
