Way back last October…you remember, when it wasn’t cold yet and baseball was all Detroit could talk about, that was when Tigers‘ pitcher Justin Verlander tweeted a hashtag. Little did he know the craze it would spur, but that’s exactly the beauty of hashtags.

Within a matter of minutes, thousands upon thousands of tweeters were declaring their love and pride for the City of Detroit with a #DetroitPride. And long after the post season ended for us, Detroiters and beyond continued to cheer and show their love with a #DetroitPride.

Now, they’re not just tweeting it, they’re wearing it — thanks to a new apparel line designed by us!

We launched weardetroitpride.com a while ago, but have just recently expanded the line to include more iconic team colors and style options.
